What a month, it started off very sad due to to injury of my event horse Wally however now at the end of the month we couldn't be in a better position!
Wally surprised everyone and is back in full work and ready to take on the eventing work at the new exciting Glanusk International. We then plan to do one more open 100 before we step back up to novice again. We have Blue back in work after a two year absense! He is slowly building up muscle and stamina and is back to trot work so we are hopeful he will be back eventing soon. The hope is to get both boys qualified for a one star* next year or possibly end of this year, fingers crossed.
Percy has been the star in all of this drama pulling out fantastic results taking a 4th in the High Performance Badminton Qualifier just missing out by one place. He has also done all of his pony club rallies ready for the pony club teams this year. At his last rally at Wick War he was so happy to be out jumping, squeeling and dancing his was through his rally however he proved a machine in the dressage getting travers down to a tee!
Finally BIG news I have been selected for a Performance Squad, Forest Farmacy are sponsoring a group of riders from a wide variety of backgrounds and I was chosen as one of them! This is fantastic news for the team and I can't wait to work along side them, Thankyou to Forest Farmacy and the team.
